Job Description

Growing company with a full scale technology transformation happening:

  • Define and evolve our enterprise architecture vision, roadmap, and governing principles, ensuring every major technology decision connects back to business strategy.
  • Lead architecture governance to maintain standards, reduce complexity, and accelerate delivery across business units including HR, Finance, Underwriting, Claims, and Customer Engagement.
  • Own our cloud adoption strategy across hybrid/multi-cloud environments, optimizing for cost, performance, security, and compliance.
  • Set cloud-native standards — microservices, containers, serverless, event-driven architecture — and lead the migration from legacy systems with clear, prioritized transformation roadmaps.
  • Architect the platforms and pipelines that enable our AI/ML capabilities, from model development and deployment to monitoring and MLOps.
  • Establish an API-first integration framework that enables secure, reliable connectivity across our application portfolio.
  • Embed security-by-design across all architecture work: IAM, zero trust, encryption, and secure pipeline practices.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and run proofs of concept to validate business value.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in IT, with at least 5 years in enterprise or solution architecture roles
  • Experience in P&C insurance or another highly regulated industry (financial services, healthcare)
  • Hands-on cloud architecture experience with AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
  • Familiarity with ERP platforms or CRM tools like Salesforce
  • Strong command of microservices, APIs, event-driven design, and distributed systems
  • Experience leading cloud transformation and application modernization programs
  • Proficiency in DevOps, CI/CD, infrastructure-as-code, and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
  • Experience architecting or overseeing AI/ML solutions and MLOps practices
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field
