We are looking for an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of electrical construction, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects while keeping work on schedule and within budget.


Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical projects from estimating and pre-construction through completion
  • Review plans, specifications, drawings, and project requirements
  • Coordinate with general contractors, customers, vendors, subcontractors, and field personnel
  • Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets
  • Track project costs, materials, labor, and overall profitability
  • Order and coordinate delivery of electrical materials and equipment
  • Work closely with electricians and field supervisors to ensure projects are completed correctly and on schedule
  • Review project changes, change orders, and additional work
  • Prepare and submit estimates, proposals, and project documentation
  • Attend project meetings and communicate project status to customers and contractors
  • Identify potential issues and develop solutions before they affect the project
  • Ensure work is performed in accordance with plans, specifications, codes, and safety requirements
  • Maintain accurate project records and documentation
  • Assist with final inspections, punch lists, and project closeout


Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in electrical construction or electrical project management
  • Strong understanding of commercial and/or industrial electrical systems
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical plans and specifications
  • Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, and cost tracking
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience working with general contractors and subcontractors
  • Knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC)
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Valid driver's license


Preferred Qualifications

  • Electrical contractor/project management experience
  • Electrical estimating experience
  • E1/E2 License
  • Experience with construction management software
  • Experience managing commercial construction projects
