TPS Front-End Manager
Overview:
The TPS Front End Manager is responsible for leading the front-end staff, ensuring smooth customer interactions, maintaining operational standards, and meeting service, financial and efficiency requirements.
Reports Directly to: General Manager & Assistant General Manager
Key Responsibilities & Duties
· Ensure high customer service standards.
· Manage cashiers and case central.
· Operations & Flow: Prevent long lines by anticipating busy times, adjustment of staff placement and keeping checkout lanes running at an efficient level.
· Prepare staff schedules weekly.
· Train, supervise and evaluate staff.
· Interview and hire front end staff.
· Handle customer complaints and complex transactions.
· Oversee cash handling accuracy, security and compliance with procedures.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of front-end.
· Ensure staff comply with all state and federal laws and regulations.
· Monitor & maintain the performance of front-end equipment, including cash registers and POS systems to ensure operational efficiency.
· Communicate with staff and keep them updated on all needed information.
· Prepare accounting reports as required or needed.
· Manage projects and project timelines as needed.
· And duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· 21 years of age or older.
· High school graduate or equivalent.
· College degree preferred
· 2-4 years of retail or customer service management experience.
· Strong customer service skills.
· Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
· Conflict resolution skills.
· Experience in supervising staff and schedules.
· Knowledge of cash handling procedures and POS systems.
· Ability to resolve customer issues with tact.
