Job DescriptionWe are looking for an SAP Master Data Solution Specialist to support master data initiatives for a manufacturing organization in Brooklyn, New York. This Contract position is ideal for a consultant who brings strong experience in SAP master data management, governance, and support within S/4HANA Cloud environments. The role requires someone who can partner effectively with cross-functional stakeholders, improve data integrity, and help drive reliable master data processes across the business.
Responsibilities:
• Lead the design, configuration, and ongoing support of SAP master data solutions aligned with business and operational needs.
• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and project stakeholders to define master data standards, processes, and controls.
• Monitor data quality issues, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to strengthen accuracy and consistency.
• Guide master data lifecycle activities, including creation, maintenance, validation, and governance across key data domains.
• Contribute to SAP S/4HANA Cloud initiatives by providing subject matter expertise on master data structures and best practices.
• Support project delivery using SAP Activate and Agile ways of working, ensuring tasks are completed on time and with clear documentation.
• Assist with the use and optimization of SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics where applicable.
• Prepare and deliver status updates, recommendations, and process guidance to stakeholders and leadership teams.• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, business, data management, or a related discipline.
• At least five years of experience in SAP master data management implementation and support, including two or more years working with SAP S/4HANA Cloud.
• Practical knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and familiarity with Agile project delivery principles.
• Solid understanding of data governance, data quality management, and end-to-end master data lifecycle practices.
• Experience working in environments with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and presentation skills.
• Exposure to SAP Fiori applications and embedded analytics is preferred.
• SAP Master Data or SAP S/4HANA certification is considered a strong advantage.
