\nProject Manager – Position Summary\n
\n
\nJoin Client's Transmission Interconnection team as a Project Manager, supporting critical infrastructure projects that connect new electricity generation to the power grid. This role offers the opportunity to manage utility construction projects from planning through execution.\n
\n
\nProject Manager Responsibilities\n
\n
\n

\n
• Manage projects from initiation through completion, overseeing scope, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.

\n

• Develop project budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial plans.

\n

• Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.

\n

• Support transmission, substation, and electrical infrastructure projects.

\n

• Conduct site inspections throughout Client's South and West service territories.

Project Manager Qualifications

Required:

\n

\n
• Minimum 3 years of relevant project management experience.

\n

• Experience in electric utilities, utility construction, or related infrastructure projects.

\n

• Strong budgeting, scheduling, forecasting, and stakeholder management skills.

\n

• Ability to travel to project sites using a personal vehicle (mileage reimbursed).

\n

• Must be local to the Oakbrook Terrace area.

Preferred:

\n

\n
• Transmission, substation, or electrical distribution experience.

\n

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline.

\n

• Gas utility or comparable infrastructure experience.
  
  

\n

Relevant hands-on experience will be considered in place of a degree. Candidates with strong utility construction backgrounds are encouraged to apply.\n
