Job DescriptionDeployment Technician (Contract | Short-Term Project)Overview
We are seeking multiple Deployment Technicians to support a short-term IT integration and device deployment project following a recent acquisition. This role will focus on standardizing end-user environments and ensuring employees are equipped with up-to-date systems and tools.
This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on IT work, structured deployment projects, and working in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and configure Windows 11 laptops for end users
- Set up and distribute additional hardware, including:
- Monitors
- Docking stations
- Keyboards/mice
- Chargers
- Assist with user migrations from one collaboration platform to another
- Support Microsoft 365 account setup and enrollment
- Configure user access to:
- Network resources
- Printers
- Business applications
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and access issues during deployments
- Follow established processes and documentation to ensure consistent rollouts
- Escalate issues as needed to onsite leads or support teams
Required Skills
- Experience with:
- Windows environments (Windows 10/11)
- Hardware deployment and setup
- Basic troubleshooting
- Familiarity with:
- Active Directory
- Help desk or desktop support processes
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow structured instructions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with:
- Large-scale device deployment or migration projects
- Microsoft 365 environments
- User onboarding/offboarding processes
- Previous help desk or IT support experience
Work Environment & Details
- Short-term contract: approximately 2–3 months (duration may vary based on project progress)
- Opportunity for full-time or part-time participation
- Onsite support role with team leads available for guidance
- Structured workflows and clear instructions provided

This is a Contract position based out of Holdrege, NE.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
