Job Title: R&D Hardware Test Technician
Location: Durham, NC 27703
Pay Rate: $40/hr on W2
Shift: 1st Shift
Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced R&D Hardware Test Technician to support testing, troubleshooting, and development of pharmacy automation devices and electromechanical systems. Responsibilities include performing verification and reliability testing, configuring prototypes, collecting and documenting test data, fabricating prototype assemblies, reading electrical schematics, and maintaining test equipment and lab safety.
Requirements:
- Technical degree in Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Technology, Physics, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of relevant testing, equipment, or reliability lab experience.
- Experience troubleshooting electromechanical hardware and software systems.
- Ability to read electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and test documentation skills.
- Experience with soldering, CAD tools, LabVIEW, or Minitab is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use a pallet jack safely.
