Troxis is hiring an SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test) to join a collaborative team in Denver, CO. If you're passionate about building scalable test automation frameworks and ensuring high-quality software through engineering best practices, this long-term opportunity is for you
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable automation frameworks for web and API testing.
- Build reusable, maintainable test utilities and libraries to improve automation efficiency.
- Develop and execute automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Implement API automation using RESTful services (Postman, Karate, or similar tools).
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab) to enable continuous testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and QA to embed quality throughout the SDLC.
- Analyze test failures, perform root cause analysis, and contribute to defect resolution.
- Contribute to code reviews, test strategy, and overall test architecture decisions.
- Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and drive continuous improvement in testing practices.
Required Qualifications:
- 3–5+ years of experience as an SDET / Automation Engineer.
- Strong programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Python, or similar languages.
- Hands-on experience with automation tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
- Solid experience in API automation and validation of RESTful services.
- Experience with CI/CD integration and version control systems (Git, Jenkins, GitLab).
- Strong understanding of test architecture, design patterns, and automation best practices.
- Good knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and SDLC.
- Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
- Passion for quality engineering and building reliable, scalable test solutions.
- Must have valid US work authorization.
