Job Summary:
As a Project Manager at United Systems, you will be responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT, Physical Security, and Cabling projects within the organization. You will manage projects from conception through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction. Your role requires strong leadership skills, in-depth knowledge of project management processes, and excellent communication abilities.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Professional Services Manager and/or Project Engineer to convert sales opportunities into project milestones, statements of work, and work plans for review
- Work with Internal Teams to identify proper resource utilization to achieve project deliverables
- Plan and manage projects within company CRM, in conjunction with the Professional Services Manager and/or Project Engineer
Communicate timeline and project scope changes to team and client - Track and monitor project deliverables and milestones
- Develop agendas and requested project documentation; distribute meeting notes and action items
- Ensure all documentation, time, and expenses are associated to correct project
- Conduct internal retrospectives (postmortems) and close project
- Monitors task completion status to identify at-risk project tasks and develop mitigation plans
- Maintain schedule of projects and personnel – aiming for 3 weeks (1 week firm and 2 weeks tentative) using project prioritization methodology.
- Local travel up to 25-50% for client projects.
