Summary

\n

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven ERP Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of our ERP implementation. This role will lead the rollout of VAI S2K Enterprise version 6.2 or a comparable ERP system used in distribution and manufacturing environments. The Project Manager will bridge executive leadership, department heads, internal technical teams, third-party consultants, and software vendors to deliver a successful implementation.

Responsibilities

\n

    \n
  • Define project scope, goals, milestones, deliverables, governance, and reporting cadence in collaboration with senior leadership and key stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Develop and maintain the project plan, budget, resource plan, risk register, issue log, and change-control process.
  • \n

  • Serve as the primary liaison among the ERP vendor, implementation consultants, internal teams, and business stakeholders.
  • \n

  • Lead discovery workshops to document current-state processes and design future-state workflows across finance, order management, purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, customer service, and related functions.
  • \n

  • Coordinate data extraction, cleansing, mapping, validation, and migration from legacy systems; ensure the integrity of master data, item records, customer data, pricing, inventory, and financial balances.
  • \n

  • Plan and lead conference room pilots, system/integration testing, user acceptance testing, defect triage, and readiness reviews.
  • \n

  • Develop and execute a change-management and communications plan, including role-based training, end-user documentation, and standard operating procedures.
  • \n

  • Lead cutover planning, go-live execution, and post-go-live hypercare, escalating and resolving operational issues promptly.
  • \n

  • Provide clear, regular project-status updates to leadership, including progress against milestones, dependencies, decisions required, risks, and mitigation plans.
  • \n

Required Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Five or more years of project management experience delivering full-lifecycle ERP implementations, upgrades, or major ERP transformation initiatives.
  • \n

  • Experience with VAI S2K Enterprise, including version 6.2, is strongly preferred; experience with a similar distribution- or manufacturing-focused ERP platform will be considered.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience working with operational and financial ERP functions, including order processing, purchasing, inventory, warehousing, and general ledger/accounting.
  • \n

  • Experience coordinating ERP vendors, systems integrators, third-party consultants, and internal cross-functional teams.
  • \n

  • Working knowledge of data migration, EDI and API integrations, warehouse management systems, and ERP reporting/analytics.
  • \n

  • Ability to apply waterfall, agile, or hybrid delivery methodologies and use project-management tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Asana, or Monday.com.
  • \n

  • Proficient in information technology (IT), including ERP-related applications, integrations, data-management practices, infrastructure concepts, and troubleshooting in collaboration with technical teams.
  • \n

Preferred Qualifications

\n

    \n
  • Experience in wholesale distribution, supply chain, manufacturing, food and beverage distribution, or pharmaceutical distribution.
  • \n

  • Experience with S2K Financial Management, Order Processing, Purchasing, Warehouse Management, or analytics/reporting modules.
  • \n

  • Experience leading EDI, eCommerce, 3PL, carrier/shipping, or other third-party integration initiatives.
  • \n

  • PMP, PMI-ACP, Prosci Change Management, or similar certification.
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • \n
