Position: Engineering Program Manager

Location: Lake County, IL | Onsite - Local candidates are preferred

Duration: 3–6+ month contract

I am looking for an experienced Engineering Program Manager to coordinate approximately 40 site engineering projects. This hands-on role focuses on scheduling, resource planning, and portfolio tracking.

\n

\n

Direct engineering project experience is required. Experience that is limited to IT, finance, or supply chain program management does not meet this requirement.

\n

\n

Responsibilities

\n

\n
• Build and maintain integrated engineering project schedules.

\n

• Map resource availability and identify capacity constraints.

\n

• Track milestones, dependencies, progress, and schedule risks.

\n

• Coordinate priorities with engineering stakeholders.

\n

• Provide portfolio status reports to leadership.

\n

\n

\n

Qualifications

\n

\n
• Active PMP certification required.

\n

• Must have engineering degree or equivalent engineering experience.

\n

• Must have 10+ years of U.S. experience, managing multiple concurrent engineering or capital projects within a regulated manufacturing environment.

\n

• Strong scheduling, resource allocation, and stakeholder management skills.

\n

• Proficiency with project management software.

\n
