Title: Senior MEP Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85034
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 + 10-15% Bonus + Relocation Allowance
Founded in 1986, we are a leading Arizona mechanical contractor with approximately 200 employees specializing in HVAC, piping, plumbing, electrical, fabrication, service, and construction solutions for commercial, industrial, healthcare, manufacturing, and mission critical clients. We are continuing to expand our MEP operations and are seeking a proven leader to help drive performance, profitability, and long term growth. We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee all aspects of MEP project management, including execution, financial performance, workforce development, safety, quality, and strategic planning. This role will work closely with executive leadership while leading Project Managers, Engineers, Superintendents, and field personnel across multiple projects.
What You Will Be Doing
- Direct all phases of MEP construction projects, ensuring HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems are delivered to spec
- Oversee field operations, fabrication shop output, and CAD/BIM coordination for complex commercial builds
- Manage budgets, forecasting, job costing, and change orders to maintain profitability and schedule integrity
- Ensure compliance with mechanical, electrical, and plumbing codes, safety standards, and QA/QC procedures
- Lead and mentor project teams, including engineers, superintendents, and foremen, to strengthen accountability and performance
What You Need for This Position
- 7+ years of MEP project management experience in commercial or industrial construction
- Proven leadership in managing HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems from design through installation
- Strong background in project planning, scheduling, estimating, and cost control for multimillion dollar projects
- Hands on knowledge of CAD/BIM coordination, prefabrication strategies, and field installation practices
- Demonstrated ability to build client relationships, resolve technical issues, and deliver projects on time and within budget
