POSITION SUMMARY:

This position provides project leadership on initiatives that span across multiple functional areas and provide practical solutions for the entire organization. The individual will collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and foster the development of solutions that address existing and future business challenges. This leader will be expected to lead cross-functional teams in the planning and execution of process improvements, the development of new processes and optimizing existing processes. You will proactively work with others to drive changes that improve the capability of people and processes within the organization.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Analyze processes: utilizing data, conduct a thorough review of current business processes to identify opportunities for improvement

2. Develop solutions: design, document standard operating procedures, and implement changes to improve efficiency, quality and productivity

3. Implement methodologies; utilize tools and techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, or Agile to drive process changes

4. Lead and train: coach and lead cross-functional teams on improvement methodologies and new processes

5. Collaborate: work with various departments, from front-line staff to leadership, to ensure buy-in successful implementation

6. Monitor results: track progress of improvement projects and report on the impact of changes

7. Eliminate waste: identify and eliminate inefficiencies in workflows and production

8. Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent preferred
  • 3 or more years’ experience in a process improvement or continuous improvement role.
  • Ability to understand complex business processes and adapt solutions to meet the needs of the organization.
  • Experience conducting Kaizen events
  • Proven analytical skills with the ability to approach problems logically and systematically.
  • Experience using online collaboration or project management systems such as Zoho, Asana
  • Experience with Lucid
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborative interaction with all levels of the organization, from process operators to executives.
  • Experience participating in projects where clients, vendors, partners, and/or end-users are part of the team.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong ability to facilitate meetings

Scope & Dimensions: This position works alongside all departments within King Solutions. Larger-scale projects could benefit many employees or end customers directly. Areas of focus include process improvement, agile process development, customer experience, and margin improvement.

Technical/Functional Knowledge: Self-motivated, ability to lead cross-functional teams, solution-oriented, ability to identify and drive metrics and KPI improvements, organized and detail-oriented, strong presentation and reporting skills. Knowledge of industry standard Project Management/Collaboration tools is highly preferred. Lean/Six Sigma or Agile certification is a plus.
