iWorld Professionals is seeking a Facility Project Engineer for our client in Rochester, NY area. This is a great opportunity to join a growing organization and play a key role in capital projects, facility improvements, reliability, and carbon reduction initiatives across a power plant. This is an on-site position offering a salary of $125,000–$140,000 plus bonus, with relocation assistance available.

Facility Project Engineer Responsibilities:

\n

    \n
  • Lead capital, improvement, carbon mitigation projects across the power plant and data center from concept through completion.
  • \n

  • Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and cost estimates while keeping projects on track and within budget.
  • \n

  • Analyze plant performance and operational data to identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reliability, and equipment performance.
  • \n

  • Manage contractors and vendors and oversee field work to ensure projects are completed safely and on schedule.
  • \n

  • Lead outage planning and execution, including developing project scopes, work plans, and inspection requirements with operations and maintenance teams.
  • \n

  • Identify and prioritize equipment upgrades, replacements, and improvement projects based on reliability, risk, and cost.
  • \n

  • Maintain project documentation, engineering records, and reports to support operational and regulatory requirements.
  • \n

  • Work closely with operations, maintenance, engineering, and data center teams
  • \n

Facility Project Engineer Qualifications:

\n

    \n
  • 3+ years of project engineering, plant engineering, or related experience.
  • \n

  • Demonstrated experience developing facility improvement projects.
  • \n

  • Experience in power generation, data centers, heavy industry, or a similar technical environment is preferred.
  • \n

  • Ability to evaluate project costs, benefits, risks, and operational impact to support sound business decisions.
  • \n

  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and other engineering documentation.
  • \n

  • Experience with project scoping, cost estimating, scheduling, and contractor management.
  • \n

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • \n

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • \n

  • Ability to work onsite.
  • \n
