Skurnik Wines & Spirits is seeking a driven, team-oriented Spirits Specialist to support our sales team and aid in the launch of our spirits portfolio across Ohio, beginning with Willett Distillery. This role is ideal for someone with strong spirits knowledge, knowledge of how spirits are sold in Ohio, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive both in the field and in a collaborative team environment.\n

\nKEY RESPONSIBILITIES:\n
\n
\nBrand & Sales Support:\n
\n
\nHelp launch Willett Distillery in Ohio as a Skurnik-brokered product.\n
\nContinue building sales of our Low ABV Spirits Portfolio, both on and off-premise.\n
\nSupport sales-focused initiatives, goals, and incentives by ensuring that the relevant state agencies and on-premise accounts have access to products through OHLQ.\n
\n
\n
\nPortfolio Education:\n
\n
\nProvide ongoing spirits education to sales representatives and customers.\n
\nServe as a knowledgeable resource on how spirits are sold in Ohio, the role of a brokerage, brands, categories, and product features.\n
\n
\n
\nCustomer & Account Engagement:\n
\n
\nExecute transfers of product throughout Ohio between state liquor agencies and aid in the active brokering of Willet's products to the OHLQ.\n
\nMake regular sales calls to both state liquor agencies and on-premise accounts to maintain strong relationships.\n
\n
\n
\nInternal Collaboration:\n
\n
\nParticipate in company sales meetings, seminars, trainings, and events.\n
\nPartner with sales leadership on reporting, data analysis, and insights. Brokering spirits requires an immense amount of communication, back-end reporting, and physical moving of product.\n
\n
\n
\nQUALIFICATIONS:\n
\n3+ years of relevant experience in Alcohol Beverage, Hospitality, Culinary, Bars/Restaurants, Supplier/Wholesale, or Tasting Room. Experience with OHLQ at some level is required.\n
\nMust reside in Ohio.\n
\nAbility to travel regularly; car and clean driving record required.\n
\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).\n
\nStrong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.\n
\nSelf-motivated, reliable, and passionate about spirits.\n
