Role Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a high-performing software development team. This role is designed as an individual contributor position with a clear growth path into a Software Development Manager role within approximately 2 years.

You will work closely with a team of 12 engineers, contributing to the development of advanced software systems that control robotics and automated equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain software for robotics and automated machinery
• Build and optimize object-oriented applications using Java or similar technologies
• Develop control systems for robotics, automation, or complex equipment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a highly interactive environment
• Participate in system architecture, design, and code reviews
• Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in automation technologies

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong programming skills in Java or other object-oriented languages (Python, C++, C#)
• Hands-on experience in robotics, automation, or machinery control systems
• Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles
• Experience developing software for equipment/device control systems
• Ability to work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, IT, or related field
• 5+ years of relevant experience (up to 30 years considered)
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
