Pittsburgh, PA | 12-month contract-to-hire | 4 days onsite

We’re currently seeking an experienced Mainframe Developer to join a large-scale financial services environment and support the maintenance, enhancement, and modernization of a critical mainframe platform.

\n
Location: Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY
\n
Onsite: 4 days/week
\n
Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:30 PM ET
\n
Contract: 12 months, with potential for extension or conversion
\n
\n
What you’ll be doing:
\n
- \n
- Develop and enhance applications using COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS
- Support complex, batch-oriented processes using Control-M
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform root-cause analysis
- Collaborate with business, product, production support, and global development teams
- Contribute to application modernization, CI/CD, API, cloud, and hybrid integration initiatives
- Support business-critical applications in a complex enterprise environment

What we’re looking for:
\n
- \n
- 7+ years of Mainframe Development experience
- Strong experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS
- Hands-on experience with Control-M
- Production support and incident resolution experience
- Experience with MQ Series and Easytrieve or REXX is a plus
- Experience with source control tools such as Endevor or GitLab
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
