Reports To: Chief Program Officer

Salary Range: $55,000-64,000
FLSA Status: Exempt
SUMMARY
The Manager of Data Analytics provides data operational leadership for TE’s programs and contracts. This position is responsible for the oversight of systems for effective data collection and tracking, data tracking systems associated with performance and outcome measurement (individual and programmatic) including Commence and staff competency of partner data management systems. This position is responsible for producing data reports and analysis of same for contract requirements; provide data for and assist in the completion of required reports for funders including foundations; monthly contract billing.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Operations, Contract Compliance and Data Management
- Monitor and report progress against contract and agency goals, and recommend action when goals are not being met or achieved.
- Identify data trend areas and develop strategies with the leadership for raising awareness and creating continuous improvement processes.
- Lead the Data Quality Initiative and monthly contest by producing individual staff performance reports, identifying staff performance strengths and challenges, and supporting improvement processes.
- Develop and oversee systems for effective contract compliance and utilizations management, performance and outcome measurement, and performance improvement.
- Work with IT Director on any needed improvements to client database and/or communication/support from vendor.
- Lead the Data Functional Team by facilitating regular meetings, disseminating tasks, developing training ideas and opportunities, performing cross departmental/functional communications as relevant.
- Assist with implementation and administration of government contracts to ensure compliance; coordinate inputs to ensure implementation targets, including placement and retention benchmarks, are fulfilled.
- Ensure that projections, data entry, employment verifications, statistics, reporting and billing for meeting program and contract benchmarks are submitted in a timely manner.
- Prepare periodic reports on program progress for donors, funders and/or other external audiences as required and requested.
2) Program Development and External Relations
- Assist in the development and implementation of systems and processes that strengthen services provided and will lead to improved outcomes.
- Provide required data and outcome information for proposals and grant applications, reports and presentations, as requested.
3) Staff management and Leadership
- As a member of the Management Team, actively participate in discussions, including raising significant program matters that are of importance to the success of program performance, staff training, etc.

Education and Experience Required:
- (Preferred) Bachelors in Social Work, Policy, Business Administration or equivalent,
- At least five years experience managing data activities related to workforce development, community economic development and/or direct services for economically disadvantaged populations.
Skill Level/Knowledge of Field:
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Proven leadership abilities
- Proven experience developing efficient and effective systems for performance, financial and outcome measurement
- Proven ability to manage people and programs to accomplish outcomes within given timeframe and budget.

- Must have proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office, and data tracking systems,
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good written and verbal communication skills
