Job Title: Network Engineer – Telecommunications Services (Remote)
General Role Information & Requirements:
- Position Overview: The Network Engineer provides senior-level technical engineering support, feasibility assessments, and architecture planning for migrating telecommunications transport services onto EIS contracts.
- Qualifications: Associate Degree in Technical field plus 5-8 years experience in Telecommunications Industry as Networking Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate network configurations and provisioning specifications across IP-based networked circuits, private lines, MPLS, and optical services.
- Develop technical requirement packages, PWS documents, bid models, and Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE).
- Provide technical liaison support between customer agencies, and telecom service providers during activation and cutover phases.
- Conduct technical reviews to optimize day-to-day planning, circuit cutover, and implementation of new technology options.
