Job DescriptionElectrical Estimator & Project Manager

Location: Carnegie, PA
Job Type: Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Estimator & Project Manager to join our team.

This is a hands-on role combining electrical estimating, project management, customer communication, and field coordination. You will be involved from the initial RFQ and estimate through project completion, helping ensure projects are accurately priced, properly planned, and delivered safely, on schedule, and within budget.

Responsibilities

Prepare estimates, bids, quotes, and proposals using Accubid.
Review drawings, blueprints, specifications, and scopes of work.
Perform material takeoffs and obtain vendor/subcontractor pricing.
Visit customer and job sites as needed.
Manage projects, schedules, costs, materials, field personnel, and subcontractors.
Serve as a primary customer contact.
Manage change orders, invoices, and project documentation.
Identify and resolve project issues proactively.
Support improvements to estimating and project management processes, SOPs, and project tools.

Qualifications

5+ years of electrical industry experience, preferably in commercial electrical contracting.
Experience with electrical estimating and/or project management.
Strong understanding of commercial electrical systems, materials, and installation practices.
Ability to read electrical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications.
Working knowledge of NEC and applicable local codes.
Strong communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
Proficiency with computers, spreadsheets, and estimating software.
Accubid experience preferred.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer and job sites.
