Project Coordinator (Subject Matter Expert)
Heartland Consulting is seeking a seasoned Project Coordinator (Subject Matter Expert) to coordinate acquisition and program activities for the DHA MST PMO. You will support rapid prototyping, fielding, and sustainment of medical simulation technologies that enhance clinical training and warfighter readiness in military hospitals and operational environments.
Key Responsibilities (aligned with PWS 5.1, 5.3, 5.7)
- Coordinate acquisition strategies, market surveys, IPT meetings, SharePoint configuration, and documentation review/revision for TADSS programs.
- Provide logistics inputs to RFPs, CDRLs, and supportability analyses while facilitating cross-functional teams.
- Support CONOPS assessments and artifact development for Programs of Record and R&D efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, management, acquisition, or related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in DoD acquisition, program management, or medical simulation support.
- Strong organizational, communication, and Microsoft Office/SharePoint skills.
- Eligible for CAC; able to complete DHA onboarding and training.
Preferred Skills
- PMP or DAWIA Level II certification.
- Prior MHS or TADSS experience.
- Familiarity with medical training environments.
Location & Travel
- Primarily telework (U.S. Government-approved) with occasional on-site work in Falls Church, VA or Orlando, FL area.
- Travel: Occasional (10-20%), CONUS/OCONUS as needed for meetings or training.
