Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee complex construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive industry knowledge, and the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple construction projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Utilize Procore for project management tasks including scheduling, budgeting, and documentation.
- Prepare and present project progress reports to stakeholders and senior management.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project impact.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Mentor and train junior project staff to enhance their skills and capabilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proven experience with commercial construction projects, particularly in medical and education sectors.
- Strong understanding of multi-family construction processes and challenges.
- Proficiency in project management software, especially Procore.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
