Job DescriptionFinancial Systems Analyst
Location: Hybrid (Akron, OH; Greensburg, PA; Wheeling, WV; Fairmont, WV; or Morristown, NJ)
Contract: 24-month contract with potential for extension or full-time hire
Pay: $36/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) match
What You'll Do
- Work with Finance and business teams to understand reporting needs.
- Create and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and performance metrics.
- Analyze budgets, forecasts, expenses, and financial trends.
- Build and update Power BI dashboards for leadership teams.
- Automate reports and improve reporting processes.
- Write SQL queries to pull, validate, and analyze data.
- Help maintain and improve data reporting systems, including Databricks.
- Ensure reporting data is accurate and reliable.
- Present findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or currently pursuing a degree).
- 1-3+ years of experience in financial reporting, business analysis, data analytics, business intelligence, or a related area.
- Strong SQL skills.
- Experience building reports or dashboards in Power BI (or similar tools).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, VLOOKUPs, and financial modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Databricks.
- Experience with Python, Pandas, or similar analytics tools.
- Familiarity with Azure data and analytics tools.
- Experience working with data from multiple business systems.
- Experience with ERP, financial, or operational data platforms.
- Experience in utilities, manufacturing, financial services, or other large corporate environments.
