Job Title: Ecommerce Architect

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL 33309 (Hybrid – 3–4 days onsite)

Salary: $140,000–$155,000 annually + 10% bonus

We are seeking an experienced Ecommerce Architect to lead the technical design and implementation of our digital commerce platforms, including an upcoming BigCommerce implementation. This role will ensure seamless integration between eCommerce platforms and enterprise systems while supporting B2C, B2B, retail, and omnichannel operations.

Key Responsibilities
\n

- Lead eCommerce architecture, solution design, and technical roadmap development.
- Guide the BigCommerce implementation and ensure scalable, secure, and reliable solutions.
- Design integrations with ERP, CRM, POS, payment gateways, inventory, and order management systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external implementation partners.
- Oversee technical design reviews, data migration, testing, deployment, and go-live readiness.
- Ensure performance, security, system reliability, and long-term maintainability.

Required Qualifications
\n

- 5+ years of experience in eCommerce architecture, solution architecture, or enterprise commerce implementations.
- Experience with at least one major platform: BigCommerce, Shopify, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud.
- Strong B2C eCommerce experience; B2B experience is also valuable.
- Experience integrating commerce platforms with enterprise applications and payment systems.
- Understanding of APIs, cloud/SaaS platforms, data flows, security, and scalable architecture.

Preferred Qualifications

- Retail industry and enterprise-scale B2C commerce experience.
- Experience with omnichannel commerce, payment security, fraud prevention, and high-volume transactions.
- BigCommerce implementation or platform migration experience.
