Position Overview
\n
Bank of America is seeking a Senior Oracle Database Engineer to support infrastructure automation initiatives within CTI, aligned with Project Spartan. This role will focus on designing and developing Infrastructure as Code solutions to deploy and manage Oracle databases on the DBaaS Exadata platform.
\n

The ideal candidate will have extensive Oracle database experience, strong hands-on expertise with Ansible and Terraform, and the ability to design end-to-end infrastructure automation solutions in an enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

- Design and develop Infrastructure as Code solutions using Ansible playbooks and shell scripting.
- Automate Oracle database deployments on the DBaaS Exadata platform.
- Design end-to-end solutions for Oracle products using Terraform.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts and deployment processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation initiatives.
- Collaborate with infrastructure, database, and technology teams to deliver enterprise solutions.

Required Qualifications
\n

- 8+ years of Oracle database experience.
- Strong enterprise experience with Oracle Exadata.
- Expert-level hands-on experience with Ansible and Ansible Tower.
- Strong Terraform experience, including Infrastructure as Code and end-to-end solution design.
- Hands-on shell scripting experience.
- Experience with SQL and PL/SQL.
- Experience with infrastructure automation and database deployment.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a large enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- 7+ years of Terraform and Ansible experience.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, XLR, or similar platforms.
- Experience with GitHub, Bitbucket, CodePipeline, or related tools.
- Python scripting experience.
- Familiarity with other relational databases such as MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL.
