Program & Technical Leadership

  • Serve as technical lead for major DoD and aerospace programs, collaborating with prime contractors and government stakeholders.
  • Guide system trades, risk assessments, and technical reviews (PDR, CDR, TRR, etc.).
  • Mentor engineering teams and interface across disciplines including software, electrical, RF, and mechanical engineering.

Systems Integration & Test (SI&T)

Security, Compliance & Quality

  • Ensure systems comply with security standards (e.g., NIST SP 800-171, RMF/DIACAP, ITAR).
  • Participate in design for compliance with AS9100, MIL-STD, and other aerospace/defense quality standards.
  • Support cybersecurity engineering and secure system design practices for classified programs.

Required Qualifications

  • Education:
    • Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
    • Master's degree or certifications (e.g., INCOSE CSEP, CISSP, PMP, DAU courses) are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • 15+ years of experience in systems engineering roles for defense/aerospace programs.
    • Proven leadership in systems design, requirements management, integration, and verification for complex defense systems.
    • Experience supporting government customers (e.g., DoD, NASA, DHS) and working in secure environments (SCIF, classified networks).
  • Technical Proficiency:
    • Skilled in MBSE tools (Cameo, Rhapsody), requirements tools (DOORS, Jama), and configuration/data management.
    • Experience with secure communications, embedded systems, radar, EO/IR, or flight control systems.
    • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall engineering lifecycles.
  • Security Clearance:
    • Must have or have had a Secret Clearence within the past 6 months.
