We support customers in aerospace, defense, space, medical, power conversion, photonics, and industrial markets where device performance and reliability are critical.

Position Summary
\n
\n
The Test Operations and Quality Technician deploys, operates and maintains the equipment used to test and screen semiconductor and microelectronic devices. The role coordinates calibration and preventive maintenance, performs equipment setup, operation and verification, and supports the Quality Management System through ESD compliance activities, internal audits, and corrective actions. Company-provided training supports development in specialized equipment and quality activities.

The technician owns day-to-day execution and documentation.
\n
\n
Key Responsibilities
\n
\n
- Equipment and Calibration Maintenance
\n
• Maintain calibration schedules and recall activities; coordinate internal and third-party services, review certificates for traceability and adequacy, and keep calibration labels and records current.
\n
• Perform preventive maintenance on test systems, environmental chambers, handlers and support equipment. Maintain equipment history, downtime, and repair records.
\n
• Monitor and document out-of-tolerance equipment conditions, non-conformities, corrective actions and promptly escalate equipment problems to Quality and Engineering.
\n
• Identify and implement improvements to equipment uptime, calibration practices, maintenance, and documentation.
\n
\n
- Test Setup, Operation, and Equipment Readiness
\n
• Program, set up, operate, and validate test systems, environmental chambers and thermal forcing systems for screening and reliability testing, including temperature cycling, burn-in, life testing, and thermal characterization.
\n
• Perform technician-level test setup and document setup verification and validation before production release, supporting consistent and repeatable test setups.
\n
Assist with installation, acceptance, and qualification of new equipment against established acceptance criteria.
\n
\n
- Quality Support
\n
• Perform scheduled ESD compliance verification under the facility's ANSI/ESD S20.20 control program, record results, and initiate corrective action for failures.
\n
• Perform internal quality audits following appropriate training, using AS9100, ISO 9001, applicable military specifications, and internal procedures. Document evidence and findings.
\n
• Document nonconformances, support investigations, implement assigned corrective actions, and maintain supporting records through review and closure by the responsible authority.
\n
• Develop and maintain technical procedures, work instructions, and equipment and quality records in company ERP and quality systems. Designated process owners approve technical content and changes.
\n
• Support customer, registrar, and government source audits by retrieving and presenting calibration, ESD, and equipment records.
\n
• Work collaboratively across disciplines, participate in cross-training, and support related duties as priorities change in a dynamic work environment.

\n
- Required Qualifications
\n
• Must be a US Citizen / US Person
\n
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field.
\n
• Hands-on experience with electronic test and measurement equipment, such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies.
\n
• Working understanding of calibration principles, measurement traceability to NIST, tolerance, and measurement uncertainty.
\n
• Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting on production or laboratory equipment.
\n
• Ability to work from schematics, datasheets, equipment manuals, and written instructions, and to use PC-based equipment controls and configuration files.
\n
• Accurate, complete, and traceable documentation; strong attention to detail and clear communication.
\n
• Willingness to develop proficiency in environmental chamber programming, ESD compliance verification, and internal quality auditing through company-provided training.

- Preferred Qualifications
\n
• Experience in semiconductor or microelectronic testing, including automated test equipment, handlers, probers, environmental chambers, or thermal forcing systems.
\n
• Experience in high-reliability, aerospace, space, or defense test and manufacturing.
\n
• Familiarity with AS9100, ISO 9001, ISO/IEC 17025, MIL-STD-883, or MIL-PRF-38535.
\n
• Internal auditor training or certification in AS9100 or ISO 9001, or experience administering an ANSI/ESD S20.20 ESD control program.
\n
• Experience with calibration management or quality management software.
\n
• IPC-A-610, J-STD-001, or equivalent workmanship training.
\n
\n
- Work Environment and Physical Requirements
\n
Work includes lifting up to 35 pounds, standing for extended periods, and wearing cleanroom garments. Maintain a safe, organized work area and follow cleanroom, ESD handling, and applicable material-control procedures.
\n
This position involves access to controlled information or materials. Employees must comply with applicable U.S. export-control requirements and company procedures governing that access.
