Summary
CEIs longtime client is a national leader in Investment, Commercial, and Private banking. The are looking to add a Lead DevOps Engineer who will join a dynamic team supporting the migration to GitHub Enterprise as the standard source control and CI/CD platform. Lead and develop reusable workflows, enhance automation, and collaborate closely with product teams to improve developer experience and operational reliability.

- Candidates must be local to Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Dallas, or Phoenix
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement reusable GitHub Actions workflows for CI/CD across teams
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines and automation using GitHub Actions and YAML-based workflows
- Integrate security scans, secrets management, and artifact storage (e.g., JFrog) into CI/CD pipelines
- Support developer teams with build/deploy troubleshooting and onboarding to GitHub Enterprise workflows
- Provide guidance on migration from legacy tools to GitHub Enterprise and help standardize best practices across the platform
- Collaborate with product owners, engineers, and platform teams to improve developer experience and operational reliability
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise and GitHub Actions (building reusable actions and workflows)
- Strong CI/CD pipeline development experience and automation skills
- Proficiency in YAML and scripting (Shell, Python, or Go) for pipeline automation and custom actions
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, Kubernetes, and basic DevSecOps practices (security scans, secrets management)
- 6+ years of relevant experience in similar roles
Preferred Skills
- Basic Jenkins knowledge (helpful for understanding legacy CI and migrating jobs to GitHub Actions)
- Experience in integrating artifact repositories (e.g., JFrog Artifactory) with CI/CD pipelines
