Overview
Devices require tightly integrated Windows drivers and system software to deliver secure, reliable, and high‑quality experiences at scale.
The System/Driver Core team partners across hardware, firmware, OS, and silicon vendors to deliver production‑ready system software that meets LKG, PST, and factory quality targets.
What This Engineer Will Do
- Develop, test, and sustain Windows kernel‑mode and user‑mode drivers and system services
- Debug complex hardware, firmware, and OS interactions
- Drive quality, validation, and release readiness (HLK, LKG, PST)
- Add telemetry and diagnostics to enable fast, remote issue resolution
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, IHVs, and internal Windows teams
Required Candidate Capabilities
- Professional experience with Windows drivers or system software
- Proven kernel debugging and dump analysis skills
- Experience supporting release quality or validation
- Comfortable working across hardware and firmware boundaries
- Strong collaboration skills with an ownership mindset
Highly Desired Experience
- HLK, driver signing, and release pipelines
- Telemetry, diagnostics, or automation tooling
- Secure driver or system design practices
- Device bring‑up or early hardware validation
Pay and Benefits
Pay Range Minimum: $88000/Year
Pay Range Maximum: $134000/Year

A candidate’s pay within the range will depend on their skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses subject to company policies.
