Status: Proposed part-time position

Reports to: President of KWF

\n

Location: KWF office / hybrid

\n

Proposed Workload: 10–15 hours per week

\n


\n

Position Summary

\n

The Operations & Development Coordinator will provide part-time administrative and development support to help the Kinsey Wright Foundation stay organized, follow through on commitments, and strengthen relationships with donors, sponsors, community partners, and families served.

\n


\n

This is a hands-on role for someone who is highly organized, dependable, compassionate, and comfortable managing multiple priorities.

\n


\n

Core Responsibilities

\n

Organization & Administration

\n

• Maintain KWF’s master calendar, including Board meetings, events, deadlines, renewals, and important

\n

follow-ups.

\n

• Keep key organizational documents and records organized and up to date.

\n

• Track action items and help ensure important tasks and commitments are completed.

\n

• Assist with scheduling, correspondence, supplies, and other day-to-day administrative needs.

\n


\n

Donor & Sponsor Support

\n

• Maintain accurate donor and sponsor records.

\n

• Coordinate timely thank-you and acknowledgment communications.

\n

• Track sponsor commitments, event benefits, and recognition.

\n

• Help leadership stay on top of donor and sponsor follow-ups.

\n


\n

Grants & Fundraising

\n

• Research grant and funding opportunities that align with KWF’s mission.

\n

• Maintain a grant and fundraising calendar.

\n

• Assist with grant applications, reports, sponsorship requests, and other development materials.

\n

• Support fundraising events, campaigns, and community partnerships as needed.

\n


\n

Program & Impact Support

\n

• Maintain a simple system for tracking KWF programs, families served, referrals, and other key impact

\n

information.

\n

• Help compile information for Board updates, grant reports, donor communications, and fundraising

\n

materials.

\n


\n

Communications & Community Support

\n

• Assist with newsletters, donor communications, event communications, and other KWF materials.

\n

• Maintain contact lists for volunteers, community partners, clinicians, sponsors, and vendors.

\n

• Communicate with KWF partners and community contacts in a professional and compassionate manner.

\n


\n

Qualifications

\n

• Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail.

\n

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

\n

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.

\n

• Experience in nonprofit administration, fundraising, grants, project coordination, or a related field

\n

preferred.

\n

• Comfortable using common office, spreadsheet, calendar, and cloud-based tools.

\n

• Able to handle confidential information with discretion.

\n

• Compassionate and aligned with the mission of the Kinsey Wright Foundation.

\n

First 90-Day Priorities

\n

• Establish a master KWF calendar and follow-up system.

\n

• Organize key organizational and development files.

\n

• Create a simple donor and sponsor tracking system.

\n

• Establish a consistent acknowledgment and stewardship process.

\n

• Develop a basic grant opportunity and deadline tracker.

\n

• Create a simple system for tracking KWF program impact and families served.

\n

• Establish a regular process for keeping leadership informed of upcoming deadlines, opportunities, and

\n

outstanding tasks.
