A growing renewable energy company is seeking an experienced Senior Director of Project Management to lead commercial solar EPC projects, oversee financial performance, and develop high-performing project teams. We're looking for a proven construction leader who can deliver complex projects, protect profit margins, and drive operational excellence across multiple markets.
What You'll Do
- Lead and develop project managers overseeing multiple commercial solar EPC projects.
- Own project delivery from pre-construction handoff through completion and closeout.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, financial forecasts, change orders, and profitability.
- Establish project controls, reporting standards, risk management, and accountability.
- Manage customer relationships, contracts, escalations, and commercial negotiations.
- Partner with Construction, Engineering, Procurement, and executive leadership to ensure successful project execution.
What We're Looking For
- Senior-level leadership experience in solar EPC, renewable energy, electrical construction, or large-scale commercial construction.
- Proven success leading project management teams and overseeing multiple concurrent, multimillion-dollar construction projects.
- Strong financial ownership, including project profitability, margin protection, cost forecasting, budgeting, and change order management.
- Deep understanding of EPC contracts, project controls, construction scheduling, risk management, and subcontractor performance.
- Experience managing both self-perform construction and subcontractor-led project delivery.
- Demonstrated ability to build scalable PM processes, improve operational performance, and hold teams accountable.
- Strong executive presence with experience managing high-value customer relationships, resolving commercial disputes, and collaborating with senior leadership.
- Experience with construction project management platforms, scheduling tools, and ERP/job-cost systems.
