A well-established architecture firm in Boston is seeking a Project Architect to join its growing team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced architect who enjoys taking ownership of the technical development and execution of projects, coordinating closely with consultants, and working collaboratively with project managers and design teams.

The firm has been practicing throughout New England for more than 50 years and has a strong portfolio of public, municipal, civic, and public safety projects. The environment is highly collaborative, with an emphasis on mentorship, professional development, and long-term growth.

Responsibilities
\n
- \n
- Lead the architectural and technical execution of projects from design development through construction documentation
- Develop and coordinate drawing sets, details, specifications, and technical documentation
- Coordinate closely with engineering consultants and other project stakeholders
- Ensure project documents meet applicable building codes, standards, and quality requirements
- Support projects through Construction Administration, including RFIs, submittals, and coordination
- Work alongside Project Managers to maintain project schedules, deliverables, and overall quality
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members
- Participate in internal project coordination, design reviews, and QA/QC efforts
- Collaborate across project teams in a supportive, hands-on studio environment

Qualifications
\n
- \n
- 8+ years of post-graduate architectural experience
- Registered Architect preferred; candidates actively pursuing licensure may also be considered
- Strong experience with technical documentation and project delivery
- 4+ years of professional Revit experience preferred
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary consultants and complex drawing sets
- Background in public, municipal, civic, public safety, education, healthcare, or similar institutional projects strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of building codes, detailing, and construction documentation
- Comfortable taking ownership of architectural execution while collaborating with a Project Manager
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
