JOB DESCRIPTION: IMPLEMENTATION SPECIALIST
The Implementation Specialist serves as the primary liaison between The Harrison Group and clients, supporting them from pre-sale consultation through initial post-sale administration of their pre-tax benefit plans. The Implementation Specialist role will foster strong, long-term partnerships with clients and the consulting community. This role directs all aspects of client benefit plan installation for new and existing clients of The Harrison Group’s products and services and develops/executes an implementation strategy consistent with client expectations.
In this role, the Implementation Specialist will be relied upon for creating, managing and tracking detailed project plans, outlining required actions, parties responsible and assigned target dates associated with the delivery of the services and projects, while providing exceptional customer service. He or she must have excellent communication skills, and be client-focused, with an understanding of benefits being a plus.
The Implementation Specialist must be organized , ensuring the project plan runs on-time, communicating potential implications of pushed or missed deadlines to all project stakeholders . In addition, the Implementation Specialist may be responsible for the oversight of the implementation process for new and renewing groups, as well as the oversight and development of documentation for all new and existing clients.
We expect that the candidate may not have experience in everything required but we will provide a considerable amount of training during the onboarding of this position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Act as the single point-of-contact for benefit plan implementation; mediate and coordinate resolution of all project deliverables and implementation related issues
• Ensure implementation strategy is administered in accordance with all performance guarantee arrangements.
• Partner with all key stakeholders (i.e., sales/service staff, consultants, plan sponsors, and other internal business units) to proactively identify and address critical implementation issues ensuring client expectations are consistently satisfied or exceeded
• Evaluate impact of client-requested exception and develop reasonable alternatives to satisfy client's needs while minimizing impact on systems and operations
• Collaborate on review, analysis and development of recommendations for the design of complex account and benefit structures based on client's objectives and our software systems and administrative processes (ex: claims processing, customer service)
• Obtain a firm understanding of regulatory guidelines surrounding the administration of HRAs, FSAs, HSAs and the implications of running benefits along side one another.
• Strong understanding of our software and card services, capabilities and how it impacts administration and end-user benefit experience.
• Professionally participates in client meetings including collaborative conversations with clients and brokers, benefit fair attendance and/or presentations to educate employees on their benefit Plan offerings.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Experience with Salesforce CRM preferred
· Previous experience in employee benefits or project management is preferred but not required.
· Bachelor's degree in Business/Health Administration preferred but not required.
Position Type and Hours of Work:
This is a full-time salaried position. Days and work hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, or as otherwise assigned. Salary is commensurate with education and experience.
Work Environment:
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines and the Microsoft Office Suite.
Travel:
This job may require up to 10% travel to the client’s workplace and is primarily local during the business day and within an hour of our Havertown office.
