We are sourcing a Senior Systems Analyst to work at our client's location in Durham, NC.
\n
\n
This is a Technical, Hands-On Systems Analyst role. This is NOT a QA or traditional Business Analyst position.
\n
\n
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
\n
\n
- \n
- Strong experience as a Technical Systems Analyst, working closely with software engineers and architects.
- Ability to independently understand application architecture, APIs, microservices, integrations, and system dependencies.
- Strong working knowledge of REST APIs and API integration, including Postman and Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Hands-on experience analyzing application logs, production issues, root causes, and system behavior.
- Strong experience with Splunk, Dynatrace, Kibana, Grafana, or similar monitoring tools.
- Strong SQL skills with Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Working knowledge of Java/Spring Boot, .NET, Python, JavaScript, or similar application technologies.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud-native application architecture.
- Ability to read application code and work directly with developers during troubleshooting.
- Experience with CI/CD, Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, release validation, and production readiness.
- Ability to create system flows, sequence diagrams, data mappings, interface contracts, and dependency maps.
- Strong independent technical analysis and the ability to advise engineering teams on technical solutions.
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Financial Services experience is preferred.
