Overview

This position is a crucial position within our organization focused on maintaining and improving the quality of products, services, and processes. This role involves diverse duties and responsibilities to ensure that all aspects of production meet or exceed established quality standards. The primary goal is to identify areas that need to be improved and work towards enhancing the overall quality, ensuring customer satisfaction and compliance with regulatory standards. This role safeguards operational integrity and mitigates compliance risk focused on the transactional view.


Specific Accountabilities

  1. Conduct spot check audits for operational corrections implemented from corrective and / or preventive actions, monitoring effectiveness for sustainability, recommending modifications as necessary
  2. Manage teardown manifest upload and proper system linkage for all necessary data and documentation to applicable Stock lines
  3. Conduct spot check audits for receiving; implement pre-inbound review to ensure compliance prior to arrival
  4. Conduct and monitor QA Surveys to and from trade companies (customers, vendors, etc.); monitoring SOs, POs, ROs, etc for compliance; streamlining inefficiencies within the process to allow scalability
  5. Responsible for managing company’s Approved Vendor Listings
  6. Review and monitor the implementation and efficiency of Operation’s quality and inspection systems
  7. Assist in regular quality assurance audits to ensure adherence to established standards and regulatory compliance through internal audits and other quality assurance activities
  8. Conduct detailed analysis to identify issues, trends and areas for continuous improvement in Operation’s product and process quality based upon customer complaints and non-conformance issues
  9. Facilitate, monitor and report on recorded Quality Events (e.g., customer complaints, Internal Quality Escapes, RMAs, AMR Findings, etc.); recommending corrective and / or preventive actions for NCRs & Events generated by Operation’s teams.
  10. Foster a culture of continuous improvement, identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements to products and processes
  11. Identify operational training needs and collaborate with Operations Leadership to organize training interventions to meet quality standards
  12. Assist with and support on-site audits conducted by external providers to ensure the company’s compliance with the ISO accreditation body
  13. Assist in development and maintenance of quality standards and procedures; collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with QMS procedures, work instructions and "Best Practices" throughout the operational facilities. Collaborate with Operations Leadership on drafting the documentation and evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards
  14. Assist Operations Leadership in producing weekly report of metrics (KPIs), streamlining inefficiencies within the process to allow real-time reporting and scalability
  15. Maintain preventative maintenance logbooks, ensuring all tasks are performed at Regional One’s facilities, machinery, etc.
  16. Maintain the calibration log to ensure all facility scales achieve annual calibration requirements


Qualifications

  • College degree preferred
  • Minimum of two years of experience in the aviation industry
  • Quantum Knowledge

  • Able to work in a team environment, e.g., collaborate with co-workers, joint problem solving, etc.
  • Able to communicate both timely and effectively written and orally
  • Able to maintain organization and handle multiple projects at the same time
