Network Infrastructure Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Elite Tiger Team
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Clearance Required: Active Secret at the time of application
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Salary: Estimated range: $130,000–$150,000 DOE

Position Summary:
OSAAVA Services is seeking a Network Infrastructure SME to join its Elite Tiger Team, a high-impact engineering unit supporting the IRES (Integrated Research & Development for Enterprise Services) contract. This role involves leading the architecture, modernization, and troubleshooting of secure, enterprise-scale network systems within classified DoD environments. You will work closely with multidisciplinary experts to solve urgent infrastructure challenges critical to operational readiness and national defense.
Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a senior technical advisor on enterprise network infrastructure and secure communications.
• Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and hybrid cloud network architectures.
• Perform deep-dive troubleshooting and root cause analysis on Tier III/IV network incidents in mission-critical environments.
• Collaborate with cyber, systems, and cloud SMEs within the Tiger Team on integrated solutions.
• Guide government stakeholders on modernization initiatives, technology evaluations, and capacity planning.
• Maintain network diagrams, configurations, SOPs, and incident response documentation.
• Contribute to Tiger Team engineering assessments, post-mission reviews, and rapid response efforts.
Required Qualifications:
• Active DoD Secret clearance (must be valid at time of application).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in enterprise network architecture, design, and operations.
• Expert-level knowledge of routing/switching protocols (BGP, OSPF, EIGRP), VLANs, and subnetting.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, or equivalent platforms, including complex configurations and diagnostics.
• Deep knowledge of firewall/VPN/IDS-IPS technologies (e.g., Palo Alto, Cisco ASA).
• Familiarity with RMF, DISA STIGs, and DoD network security/hardening standards.
• Strong ability to independently manage tasks under high-pressure, high-priority operational conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Certifications: CCNP, CCIE, JNCIP, or equivalent advanced credentials.
• Experience with Zero Trust architecture, IPv6 deployment, and cloud network integration (AWS, Azure).
• Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools (e.g., Ansible, Python, Terraform) and monitoring platforms (e.g., SolarWinds, NetScout).
• Prior support to DoD Tiger Teams, rapid engineering response teams, or classified contingency environments is highly desirable.
