Join a global metals and automation manufacturer’s installation project in Apple Grove, WV (just outside Huntington). As an Industrial Automation Wiring Technician, you’ll support a 6+ month buildout of PLC-driven systems—earning top pay and daily per diem while working a steady first shift with overtime potential.

Where and When

• Location: Apple Grove, WV (near Huntington)
• Hours: 1st shift, 7:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.
• Schedule: Full-time contract with potential overtime

What You’ll Earn

• Pay: $40–$45/hour (based on experience)
• Per Diem: $120/day for hotel and meals

Your Impact

• Layout, bend, and install flexible and rigid conduit
• Pull, sort, and label control wiring for 30–40 ft runs
• Terminate into PLC I/O, terminal blocks, and junction boxes
• Mount and align sensors (limit switches, prox switches, and more)
• Read and apply wiring diagrams, schematics, and panel drawings
• Verify voltage/continuity and commission circuits with a multimeter
• Adhere to LOTO and all electrical safety protocols
• Operate independently and troubleshoot as issues arise

Must-Haves

• 3+ years of industrial electrical install/troubleshooting experience
• Hands-on PLC wiring and control panel background
• Working knowledge of NEC/IEC standards and safe work methods
• Comfort with conduit benders, knockout tools, and power drills
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings/schematics

Nice-to-Have

• Experience on large-scale industrial/manufacturing sites
• PLC cabinet assembly and field device troubleshooting
