Job DescriptionAssistant Project Manager
We're seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing construction team in Charleston, SC. This role is an excellent opportunity for a motivated construction professional who wants to gain hands on project experience while supporting the successful delivery of high quality commercial and industrial projects.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with the daily management of construction projects from preconstruction through closeout
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep projects on track
- Help manage project schedules, budgets, contracts, submittals, RFIs, and change orders
- Track procurement activities and ensure materials are delivered on time
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Attend project meetings and assist with progress updates and issue resolution
- Support project safety, quality control, and overall project execution
- Help ensure projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field preferred
- 2+ years of construction experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem solving skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
