We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ServiceNow Developer. The ability to obtain a public trust clearance is required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Extensive ServiceNow development experience including: modules, workflows, and integrations on the ServiceNow platform. This includes proficiency in core modules like ITSM, HRSD, CSM, NowAssist, RAPTOR DB, Workflow Data Fabric, and CMDB.
  • JavaScript and ServiceNow scripting proficiency: Expertise in JavaScript (including Glide APIs) for client-side and server-side scripting to customize and extend the platform's capabilities.
  • Experience with AI integrations: Proven experience implementing ServiceNow AI modules like Virtual Agent, Predictive Intelligence, and Performance Analytics.
  • Large Language Model (LLM) familiarity: Understanding of LLM concepts and ability to leverage them for tasks like natural language understanding and optimization of system instructions.
  • NowAssist product utilization: Experience in building and maintaining solutions using NowAssist features and related technologies such as AI Search, Virtual Agent, Skills Builder, AI Agent Studio, and Workflow Builder to build chatbots and enhance business processes.
  • Integration skills: Expertise in using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods to connect ServiceNow with external systems, including external AI services like OpenAI, Azure Cognitive Services, or Google Cloud AI.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills: Ability to work with cross-functional teams, understand requirements, and effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-solving and analytical skills: Demonstrated ability to identify issues, diagnose root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with conversational AI platforms: Familiarity with platforms beyond NowAssist like Moveworks or Microsoft Copilot.
  • Agile methodologies and DevOps practices: Experience working in an Agile environment and understanding CI/CD pipelines.
  • Cloud-native application development and serverless architectures: Understanding these concepts is increasingly relevant for ServiceNow development and AI integration.
  • UX/UI Design: Experience creating user-friendly interfaces for chatbots and other ServiceNow applications.
  • Understanding of RaptorDB Architecture: Knowledge of RaptorDB as ServiceNow's high-performance hybrid transactional and analytical processing (HTAP) database built on PostgreSQL.
  • Experience with Performance Optimization: Ability to leverage RaptorDB's capabilities to achieve faster response times, accelerate transactions, and boost throughput in ServiceNow applications.
  • Real-time Analytics Expertise: Understanding of how RaptorDB enables real-time analytics and its application in driving AI agents and informed decision-making within ServiceNow workflows.
  • Scalability and Performance Tuning: Knowledge of RaptorDB's scalability features, including vertical and horizontal scaling, and experience with performance tuning using workload management rules and priority settings.
  • Data Integration with External Sources: Understanding of how RaptorDB facilitates integrating and analyzing data from various sources to gain comprehensive insights across workflows.
  • Experience with Database Migration (a plus): While not explicitly stated as a requirement for developers, familiarity with the RaptorDB migration process and understanding that application layer functionalities remain the same before and after migration would be beneficial.


Required Qualifications:

  • Master's Degree and 12 years of experience
  • Proficient in JavaScript, ServiceNow APIs, and Agile methodologies.
  • ServiceNow certifications: Relevant certifications like Certified ServiceNow Developer or AI certifications
  • Ability to obtain a public trust clearance


Physical and Mental Qualifications:

  • Lift and move objects weighing up to 15 pounds as needed.

  • Quickly learn and retain routine tasks and processes.
  • Possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, business correspondence proficiency, and self-management capabilities.
