We are seeking a Senior Agilist / Scrum Master to support one or more Agile teams in delivering high-value business and technology solutions. This role is responsible for fostering Agile principles, guiding teams in the effective application of the Scrum framework, and creating an environment where teams can become high-performing, self-organizing, and continuously improving.
The ideal candidate combines strong servant leadership, coaching, facilitation, and problem-solving skills with hands-on experience supporting Agile delivery teams. This individual will help teams optimize collaboration, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and drive successful outcomes while promoting a culture of transparency, accountability, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
Agile Leadership & Team Coaching
- Serve as a Scrum Master for one or more Agile teams, ensuring adherence to Agile values, principles, and Scrum practices.
- Coach teams in self-organization, cross-functional collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Foster an environment built on trust, openness, accountability, and psychological safety.
- Lead by example through servant leadership and Agile best practices.
- Help teams identify opportunities to improve processes, team dynamics, and delivery effectiveness.
Scrum Facilitation
- Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including:

- Sprint Planning
- Daily Stand-Ups
- Sprint Reviews
- Retrospectives
- Backlog Refinement Sessions
- Ensure Scrum events are productive and deliver measurable value.
- Guide teams in using empirical data and team metrics to improve performance and predictability.
Product & Delivery Support
- Partner closely with Product Owners to support effective backlog management and prioritization.
- Help teams develop a shared understanding of business goals, customer value, and success criteria.
- Promote transparency around team objectives, delivery commitments, risks, and dependencies.
- Support planning and execution efforts across the software development lifecycle.
Impediment Removal & Risk Management
- Identify, track, and facilitate the removal of team impediments.
- Escalate unresolved blockers and organizational barriers when necessary.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and other teams to manage dependencies and improve collaboration.
- Support proactive risk identification, mitigation, and resolution.
Organizational Agile Enablement
- Coach stakeholders and business partners on Agile practices and ways of working.
- Promote adoption of Agile principles across the broader organization.
- Encourage continuous learning and professional development within Agile teams.
- Help cultivate a culture of innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional business experience.
- 1+ year of Scrum Master or Agile team facilitation experience.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the Scrum Framework.
- Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing individuals and teams.
- Proven ability to facilitate discussions, resolve conflicts, and drive consensus.
- Experience identifying and removing impediments that impact team performance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to influence and lead without direct authority.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Scrum Master certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent).
- Experience working within software development or technology organizations.
- Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) disciplines including:
