IT Configuration Manager — IRES Contract
Location: Colorado Springs, CO
Salary Range: $140,000 – $175,000 DOE
Clearance: Active DoD Secret clearance required (TS/SCI preferred)
Employment Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Contract: IRES (Integrated Research & Development for Enterprise Services)

Overview:
OSAAVA Services is seeking a detail-oriented IT Configuration Manager to join our elite Tiger Team supporting the IRES contract. This role will ensure configuration control across complex IT systems, providing traceability, accountability, and integrity of hardware and software components. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in configuration management (CM) practices within Department of Defense (DoD) environments and a proactive, process-driven mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain configuration management policies, procedures, and plans across the enterprise IT environment.
- Manage Configuration Items (CIs), including system hardware, software, firmware, documentation, and change control.
- Develop and maintain the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).
- Coordinate with system engineers, cybersecurity, and operations teams to ensure consistent and accurate configuration baselines.
- Conduct audits and reviews to validate system integrity and compliance with CM procedures.
- Support Change Control Boards (CCBs), maintain configuration documentation, and ensure accurate system baselines.
- Provide status accounting reports and CM metrics to senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with DoD, ITIL, and NIST standards.
Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5+ years of configuration management experience in a large-scale enterprise IT environment.
- Familiarity with CM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, BMC Remedy, or similar CMDB platforms).
- Strong understanding of ITIL-based processes and lifecycle management.
- Active DoD Secret clearance required (TS/SCI preferred).
Preferred Qualifications:
- ITIL v4 Foundation certification.
- Experience with IRES or similar classified environments.
- Knowledge of Agile and DevSecOps environments.
- Configuration Management certifications (e.g., CMII, CMPIC, or equivalent).
