Job Description

Tatum is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support a major global organization through a complex divestiture. This individual will lead the payroll workstream for the Mobility divestiture, coordinating activities across the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil.

This is primarily a functional project management role. Prior payroll experience is helpful but not required. We are looking for a strong PM who can quickly understand a complex business process, bring structure to the workstream, manage multiple stakeholders and vendors, and drive execution against key milestones.

Responsibilities include:

\n

    \n
  • Manage regional project plans, timelines, dependencies and deliverables across the US, Canada, Mexico and Brazil
  • \n

  • Drive risks, issues, actions and decisions through RAID logs and established governance
  • \n

  • Coordinate internal, in-country and vendor resources to ensure timely execution
  • \n

  • Manage vendor activities, costs and resource constraints
  • \n

  • Prepare clear weekly project/status reporting for leadership
  • \n

  • Coordinate testing activities and resources across the region
  • \n

  • Support preparation and review of key project and design-decision documentation
  • \n

  • Review project documentation for completeness, accuracy and potential gaps
  • \n

  • Coordinate current-state documentation, SOP development/modification and process mapping
  • \n

  • Develop and manage mitigation, training, readiness and cutover plans
  • \n

  • Facilitate workshops with functional and in-country teams and drive resulting action plans
  • \n

  • Support successful Operational Day 1 execution
  • \n

Ideal background:

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, cross-functional projects in a large corporate environment
  • \n

  • Strong documentation, analytical and organizational skills
  • \n

  • Proven ability to independently drive projects, deadlines and stakeholder accountability
  • \n

  • Experience managing third-party vendors and geographically dispersed teams
  • \n

  • Strong risk/issue management and executive-status reporting skills
  • \n

  • Experience with business transformation, divestitures, carve-outs, implementations or other complex enterprise initiatives preferred
  • \n

  • Payroll, HR, HRIS or shared-services project experience is a plus, but not required
  • \n

  • Experience supporting multinational projects is beneficial
  • \n

  • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities
  • \n

Location: Cleveland-area candidates are preferred for hybrid work; strong remote candidates will also be considered.

\n

Duration: Expected to run through Q1 2027.

\n

Compensation: Approximately $50–$60/hour W-2, with some flexibility based on experience.
