Genesis10 is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Kennesaw, GA or Jersey City, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.
This role is for a professional engineer with in-depth knowledge of Contact Center technologies, specifically supporting an Avaya contact center migration to Genesys Cloud. The position resides within the Real Time Collaboration Contact Center Engineering team and is responsible for the implementation and review of engineering plans, developing program schedules, and creating documentation related to fast-moving programs.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation and review of engineering plans for contact center products and solutions
- Develop program schedules, tasks, and communication materials for senior leadership
- Create and maintain contact center engineering documentation
- Participate in cross-functional teams and work effectively in a geographically dispersed team
- Work evenings and weekends as project requirements dictate
Requirements:
- 8+ years of Contact Center experience
- Extensive PBX/ACD and VoIP programming experience on Avaya ACM, with working knowledge of IVR, CTI, Call Recording (NICE), call flows, vectors, and adjunct routing
- Strong hands-on knowledge and extensive technical experience with Avaya Voice solutions including ACM, System & Session Manager, AES, and CMS
- Experience with Avaya Call Manager, Avaya System Manager, Avaya Site Administrator, Provision or Provision Site Administrator
- Knowledge of SIP and Traditional ISDN/PRI trunking
- Experience with VoIP endpoint (H.323, SIP, etc.) configuration
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and in a high-pressure environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Desired skills:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical major such as computer science or computer engineering, or 10 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
- Experience with E911 configuration on Intrado e911 products
- In-depth knowledge of TCP/IP
- Experience with configuration and support in a complex multi-layered network environment
Pay range: $60.24 - $68.24 per hour
