Circle Logistics Inc. is seeking an experienced Director of Data Science and Information Technology to spearhead our technology initiatives and lead our dedicated IT and Data team. Key Responsibilities

As the central point for all technology initiatives, you will ensure our systems remain robust, secure, and scalable.

• Strategic Project Management: Plan and execute complex IT projects, including system upgrades, software implementations, and infrastructure enhancements.

• Team Leadership & Development: Manage and mentor the IT and Data team, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.

• System Oversight: Maintain the reliability and security of our networking infrastructure, hardware, and communication systems.

• Business Software Expertise: Act as the expert administrator for essential tools, including Google Workspace (Gmail, Sheets, Docs) and Microsoft Excel.

• Data Foundation: Oversee database operations with a strong understanding of SQL for querying and reporting.

• Technology Innovation: Research and implement emerging technologies, specifically leveraging AI tools to enhance operational efficiency and brokerage decision-making.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years of progressive IT experience, with a focus on People Management and Project Management.

• Networking & Hardware: Deep understanding of TCP/IP, firewalls, VPNs, and PC hardware maintenance.

• Software Mastery: Expert-level proficiency in Google Workspace and Excel.

• Technical Literacy: Basic to intermediate SQL knowledge; familiarity with coding/scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).

• AI Integration: Demonstrated ability to research and implement AI tools to solve business challenges.
