The Opportunity
\n
The Project Director serves as the executive leader responsible for the successful delivery of major electrical construction programs from preconstruction through project completion.
\n
\n
Reporting to senior executive leadership, this individual will provide strategic oversight of project execution while leading a team of Project Managers and partnering closely with field operations, executive leadership, and key client stakeholders.
\n
\n
Success in this role requires exceptional commercial judgment, executive presence, and the ability to lead large organizations through complex, fast-paced project environments.

This role offers the opportunity to lead the execution of a landmark, multi-year industrial construction program supporting one of the world's largest advanced manufacturing investments. What We're Looking For

We're seeking a proven construction executive who has successfully led complex electrical construction programs (mega project experience) and understands what it takes to deliver challenging projects while maintaining strong commercial performance and trusted client relationships.

The ideal candidate brings experience leading large project organizations, developing high-performing teams, and partnering directly with executive-level clients throughout the lifecycle of major capital projects.

Key Responsibilities
\n
In this role, you will own the complete project lifecycle, with accountability for:

- Provide executive leadership for large-scale electrical construction programs.
- Own overall project performance, including safety, schedule, quality, cost, profitability (P&L), and client satisfaction.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Project Managers responsible for multiple concurrent workstreams.
- Serve as the primary executive liaison with owner representatives, consultants, and strategic project partners.
- Drive commercial strategy through forecasting, risk management, project control, contract administration, and financial oversight.
- Collaborate with construction leadership to ensure alignment between field execution and business objectives.
- Lead executive-level project reviews while proactively identifying risks and implementing mitigation strategies.
- Build and maintain high-performing project teams focused on accountability, collaboration, and operational excellence.
- Support long-term strategic planning and organizational growth initiatives.

Experience & Qualifications

Education

- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline required.
- Advanced degree or executive leadership education is considered an asset.

Professional Experience
\n

- Extensive leadership experience delivering large, complex construction or industrial capital projects.
- Demonstrated success leading Project Managers and multidisciplinary project teams in a high-performance environment.
- Proven accountability for financial performance, including forecasting, budgeting, profitability, and overall business results.
- Experience managing executive-level client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor on major capital programs.
- Strong commercial acumen with expertise in contract administration, risk management, change management, and project controls.
- Experience supporting organizational growth through strategic planning, operational improvements, or client development initiatives.
- Background with electrical construction, industrial contracting, EPC, or other complex self-perform construction organizations is strongly preferred.
