The Role
This role carries direct responsibility for enforcing quality installation and safety standards across all active projects — crew
communication and leadership, quality/safety control and training. Stop-work and rework authority applies independently of the
reporting chain: Site Foremen comply with QA directives on safety and quality without waiting for direction from the Travelling
Superintendent.
What you own
☐ Site safety spot-checks — PPE, unscheduled inspections, worker accountability
☐ Stop-work and rework authority on every active site for safety and quality concerns
☐ Building and auditing the company SOP library — installation, safety, documentation, communication
☐ Daily log auditing for professionalism, accuracy, and completeness (6:00 PM ET deadline enforcement)
☐ New crew screening, hiring coordination, and initial training
☐ Weekly on-site behavior and safety assessments, with corrective-action follow-up
What we are looking for
- Certifications such as OSHA 500/510, ASQ CCQM, or NSF-
ANSI 7 & 51+, and trade knowledge/background
- Strong communication and leadership skills — discipline,
reporting, documentation, enforcement
- Ability to oversee and manage field operations across
multiple project locations
- Willingness to travel for project assignments
REPORTING & AUTHORITY
- Reports to: President / Owner
- Direct reports: None — independent authority over all active sites
- Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Escalates hazards directly, regardless of chain of command
- Authority: High strategic oversight, high compliance authority
