D3 Air and Space Operations, Inc. is seeking a full-time, on-site Programmer / Data Analyst to support the Innovation & Readiness Department at Marine Corps Air Station (MCAS) New River, Jacksonville, NC. The position delivers automated applications, readiness assessment tools, and data-driven analysis that improve installation efficiency and directly support Fleet Marine Forces operational readiness. Work is performed Monday-Friday on a Government-furnished workstation.

Full-Time (40 hrs/wk; 8 hrs/day between 7:00 am-5:00 pm, M-F)

\n

Work Location: On-site, MCAS New River, Jacksonville, NC

\n

Planned Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000

\n

\n

Duties include:

\n

\n
• Automate repetitive tasks, develop custom functions that extend native Excel capabilities, and build user forms and interactive tools that improve data processing and workflow efficiency.

\n

• Design, develop, and maintain custom applications that bring innovation and efficiency to existing tenant-unit processes and to requirements with no established process.

\n

• Design, develop, and maintain data-driven dashboards and digital products using Power Apps, Power BI, Python, and other approved technologies.

\n

• Work with Air Station staff to identify opportunities and methods for capturing data on Air Station, tenant-unit, and supported-unit readiness programs and initiatives.

\n

• Design, develop, and adapt mathematical and statistical models to evaluate the probable effects of alternative courses of action and predict the ability to support assigned programs.

\n

• Provide coordination, research, analysis, and planning for readiness analysis and other data collection and processing programs.

\n

• Prepare reports and presentations that accurately convey data trends and analyses, including biweekly input to the Commanding Officer's update brief and monthly input to the Commanding General's SITREP.

\n

• Create documentation, user manuals, and training guides for custom applications; develop education and training guidelines for readiness analysis and data collection programs.

\n

• Research advanced statistical methods for the innovative solution of unique problems.

\n

Position Requirements

\n

\n
• Master’s degree; or Bachelor’s degree plus four (4) years of equivalent experience; or eight (8) years of dedicated equivalent experience in quantitative science, computer science, information technology, social science, business technology, or a related discipline.

\n

• Ability to program effectively in one or more scripting languages, including Python, JavaScript, Visual Basic for Applications (VBA), or R.

\n

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) and Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI).

\n

• Knowledge of a wide range of operations research techniques, including qualitative and/or quantitative methods used to develop, adapt, modify, and apply models to resolve problems, define solutions, and recommend alternatives.

\n

• Ability to independently gather, assemble, and analyze facts; apply data collection and data-cleansing techniques to produce valid, reliable findings; devise innovative solutions; and package the results in briefings, papers, or reports suitable for senior-leader decision-making.

\n

• Ability to communicate effectively orally and in writing, resolve complex issues, develop a range of efficient alternatives where no single solution exists, and build and maintain good working relationships with stakeholders.

\n

• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain installation access (DBIDS) and a CAC.
