Position Overview:
Staff Force is seeking a detail-oriented and solutions-driven RMA Resolution Specialist to join our client’s team. This role is ideal for someone with experience in production, manufacturing, or technical support who excels at problem-solving, organization, and cross-departmental collaboration.
The RMA Resolution Specialist will be responsible for managing and improving the Returned Materials Authorization (RMA) process, ensuring timely responses, accurate documentation, and high-quality customer support.
Key Responsibilities:
RMA Resolution (Returned Materials):
- Investigate and resolve RMA status inquiries and evaluation findings.
- Update and correct missing or inaccurate RMA information.
- Process repair orders through GP once repairs are completed.
- Communicate internally to provide timely updates (follow the “Sundown Rule” – respond before the end of shift).
- Maintain RMA lab organization by categorizing and labeling shelves and units.
- Coordinate with vendors to remove obsolete or unusable parts.
- Update Salesforce records and provide customer quotes.
- Prioritize and process orders based on due dates and rush status, ensuring alignment with production leadership.
- Troubleshoot test equipment issues as they arise.
Process Improvement & Administration:
- Review and recommend RMA process improvements (e.g., Salesforce integration, advanced cross-ships, end-of-life unit handling).
- Schedule and lead monthly RMA review meetings; track and report RMA metrics.
- Participate in weekly S&OPS meetings to provide RMA updates.
- Train temporary staff on RMA Receiving when needed (short-term assignments).
- Plan contractor support in coordination with the Production Manager.
- Conduct QA checks and process outgoing orders.
- Collaborate with Engineering, CSR, Support, and Production teams to resolve cross-functional issues.
- Approve credit returns and provide Allegros QX units for further evaluation.
- Print and send shipper travelers to Juniper as needed, and follow up to ensure completion.
Requirements:
✅ 1–2 years of experience in production, manufacturing, or related fields
✅ Experience as a test technician is a plus
✅ Background in troubleshooting, soldering, and mechanical/technical assembly
✅ Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
✅ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
✅ Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
✅ Ability to work weekends based on business needs
