Job Summary:
Wise Staffing is seeking an experienced Network Engineer to for our client to support State, Local, and Education (SLED) customers throughout Arkansas.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a technical presales resource for SLED customers
- Design, configure, deploy, and support enterprise networks
- Develop network architectures, BOMs, scopes of work, and technical proposals
- Participate in customer discovery, presentations, and RFP responses
- Troubleshoot routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and security issues
- Support network upgrades, migrations, and new deployments
- Partner with sales teams, project managers, vendors, and customer IT teams
- Travel to customer locations throughout Arkansas as needed
Qualifications:
- Enterprise network engineering experience
- Strong routing, switching, wireless, firewall, and security knowledge
- Presales/customer-facing experience preferred
- Experience with HPE Aruba, Juniper, and/or Fortinet
- Aruba, Juniper, or Fortinet certifications strongly preferred
- SLED, K-12, higher education, or government experience is a plus
- RFP, public-sector procurement, or E-rate experience is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
- Must live in or near Little Rock and be willing to travel throughout Arkansas
