Job Purpose:
As an HCM Project Manager, under the leadership of the Vice President, Client & Partner Engagement Strategy, you’ll be responsible for successfully planning, coordinating, and implementing projects to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated time frames.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage all project phases, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, control, and closure. This role requires Excel data validation and more hands-on tasks when an implementation specialist is not assigned to the project.
- Manage day-to-day activities of projects to include deliverables, activities, timelines, and budgets.
- Ensure milestones are successfully met through oversight of project vehicles and coordination of resources.
- Clearly communicate expectations with ADP, client, and team members to include managing relationships with third-party vendors.
- Provide scheduled and on-demand weekly/ milestone/project-based status reports and updates to client and internal teams.
- Assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (if necessary) risks and issues to ensure resolution of concern. Ensure any changes to scope are documented and approved.
- Manage time and track hours to ensure a range of 35-38 hours a week are billable to the client/project and non-administrative in duty.
- Accurately assess and manage the use of SOW hours and ensure the proper utilization of ELE for each project.
- Complete and deliver weekly project summaries to both the client and manager.
Qualifications:
- A 4-year college degree and 5+ years of proven working experience with a variety of ADP products (Lyric, WFN, Enterprise, Vantage, NextGen) in a payroll or HR capacity or a combination thereof.
- PMP or equivalent professional project management certification is preferred. Experience with project management tools and structured methodologies is required.
- Expertise with Microsoft Office, and other HCM systems such as UKG or Workday, is required.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, and Vlookups is required.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills for handling multiple and conflicting activities.
- Proven negotiation, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Commitment to being accountable for results individually and as a team.
- Capacity for building internal and external relationships with a collaborative approach to work.
- Ability to think independently and make informed decisions.
- Must have the ability to travel to client sites if requested, which may include overnight stays.
